Most sweet Jesus,

For those who are suffering,
Life itself is a blessing. You will never know what it will bring, but you'll always be sure that whatever life may offer, it will be for the best. Life is easy because of the Love of our God. His Grace and guidance are constantly available for us. It is for this very reason why we are where we are right now and why we meet different people in our journey.
O, my Blessed Mother,
it is not one sword only with which I have pierced your heart,
but I have done so with as many
as are the sins which I have committed.
Ah, Lady, it is not to you,
who are innocent,
that sufferings are due, but to me,
who am guilty of so many crimes.
But since you have been pleased to suffer so much for me,
God called us out of darkness,
into His wonderful light.
May we experience His kindness and blessings,
and be strong in faith, in hope, and in love.

I am presently working in the Catholic Diocese Hsinchu Migrants and Immigrants Service Center (HMISC). I chose this ministry not because it's very near to our apartment but because I felt a call to work with the migrants. One of the services of HMISC is to provide shelter for migrant workers who had problems with their employers.
Recently, we at the PREDA Foundation have opened a new home for troubled boys which was possible with the help of our supporters. The children in the PREDA homes can be 10 to 15 years old. They are not criminally liable yet they are often jailed like criminals. We rescue them and give them a new start in life.
The Columbans are a society of missionaries, including priests and lay people, who minister to people of various cultures as a way of witnessing to the universal love of God.
We go in the name of the Church to announce, by deed and word, the Good News of Jesus Christ.
